> New Media / Website Designer for Graphic Design Studio, North West, Accrington, Lancs

We are currently looking for a designer with specific experience with digital platforms to join our successful design studio.

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a creative environment, relevant qualifications and have excellent knowledge and understanding of HTML, ASP, Java Script, Action Script and Flash.

You must be proficient in the use of Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks and Photoshop, while an understanding of both PC and Mac-based graphic software packages such as: Freehand, Illustrator, In Design and Quark Xpress would be an advantage.

Past involvement in the creation of live websites is essential. You will have an outstanding eye for detail, strong conceptual ability and first-rate communication skills.

You will need to be comfortable in working to tight deadlines under pressure and possess a varied skill-set, from designing online advertising, programming web scripts and laying out web pages for professional publication.

The added flexibility of being able to produce and assist in the design of printed publications would be desirable.
